Sleipnir Transportation – Terms and Conditions
1. Deposit and Payment: A non-refundable deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00) is required at the time of booking to secure services. The remaining balance shall be paid in full no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pickup date and time. By booking, the Client authorizes Sleipnir Transportation to charge the payment method on file for all applicable fees, including but not limited to final balances, cleaning fees, damage charges, no-show fees, and additional service charges.
2. Cancellation Policy: Any booking canceled with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice prior to the scheduled pickup date and time shall be subject to a charge equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total trip cost.
3. Changes to Bookings: Requests to modify bookings must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pickup time and are subject to availability. Changes may result in adjustments to pricing and scheduling.
4. Wait Time and Grace Period: A grace period of fifteen (15) minutes is provided for standard pickups. Airport pickups include a grace period of sixty (60) minutes from the scheduled pickup time or confirmed flight arrival time. Additional wait time beyond the applicable grace period shall be billed at a rate of forty-five dollars ($45.00) per hour or fraction thereof, subject to driver availability. If the passenger is unreachable after the applicable grace period, the booking shall be considered a no-show.
5. No-Show Policy: A booking shall be deemed a no-show if the passenger fails to appear at the designated pickup location, cannot be contacted, or refuses service after the driver has arrived and waited through the applicable grace period. No-shows shall be billed at one hundred percent (100%) of the total trip cost.
6. Additional Stops and Overtime: Additional stops requested by the Client shall be billed as follows: stops located along the original route shall incur a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per stop; stops requiring deviation from the original route shall incur a charge of three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) per mile in addition to any applicable stop fee. Any extension of service time beyond the agreed duration shall be billed at the Company’s applicable rates.
7. Cleaning Fees: A cleaning fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall be assessed for any trash or debris left in the vehicle. Any liquid spills within the vehicle shall result in a cleaning fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00). Additional cleaning or remediation costs may be charged if necessary.
8. Damage and Liability: The individual or entity booking transportation services (“Client”) shall be fully responsible for any and all damages caused by passengers. The Client agrees to pay the full cost of repair or replacement of any damaged property. In addition, the Client shall be liable for a loss-of-use fee of three hundred dollars ($300.00) per day for each day the vehicle is out of service due to such damage.
9. Passenger Conduct: Passengers shall conduct themselves in a safe and lawful manner at all times. Illegal activity, abusive behavior, excessive intoxication, or any conduct that endangers the driver or vehicle is strictly prohibited. Sleipnir Transportation reserves the right to terminate service immediately without refund in the event of such conduct.
10. No Smoking Policy: Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Violations may result in additional cleaning and remediation charges.
11. Personal Belongings: Sleipnir Transportation shall not be responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle. Clients are responsible for ensuring all belongings are removed at the conclusion of service.
12. Delays and Limitation of Liability: Sleipnir Transportation shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather, road closures, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen events. The Company shall not be responsible for missed flights, appointments, or other consequential damages.
13. Child Safety Requirements: Clients are responsible for providing any legally required child safety seats or restraints. Drivers reserve the right to refuse service if proper child restraints are not provided in accordance with applicable law.
14. Force Majeure: Sleipnir Transportation shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
15. Service Refusal: Sleipnir Transportation reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time if, in its sole discretion, conditions are deemed unsafe, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
16. Vehicle Substitution: Sleipnir Transportation reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or greater value, capacity, or quality in the event of unavailability or operational necessity.
By booking services with Sleipnir Transportation, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.
